Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials and products throughout our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport, stack, and organize materials and products
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of forklift equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and prevent accidents
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and materials handled
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Keep the work area tidy, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift certification/license
- At least 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar setting
- Skilled in handling forklift controls and various attachments
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs
- Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
